SPRING/SUMMER 2018 EDITION
Boutiques at the Pit Building returns this March for our annual fashion-centric event on 16-18 March (Friday to Sunday)! Met with overwhelming positive feedback for our first three-day edition last November, we are excited to re-stage a three-day shopping extravaganza that will be complemented with fringe activities and workshops for the entire family.
The Spring/Summer 2018 Edition will feature over 200 independent, design-led labels over two floors and 5,000 square metres of retail space. Take your pick from a plethora of women’s and men’s fashion and accessories; furniture and home decor; art and lifestyle products; and children’s apparel, toys, and accessories.
HUNTER + BOO
Comfort, expressive prints, and a commitment to ethical and sustainable production are cornerstones of this new baby and childrenswear label. Founded by sisters Beth and Sarah Medley, Hunter + Boo’s original designs are produced using ethically-milled organic cotton and eco-dyes, and made by fairly paid Sri-Lankan based artisans.
CHARLOTTE ELIZABETH FINE ART
Charlotte Elizabeth is a prolific scenic artist who has created large-scale work for London events, including for the theatres of London’s West End and the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics. She will be debuting her first collection of personal work, ‘Singapore Skies,’ at Boutiques.
COQ EN PATE
Coq en Pâte is a socially and environmentally conscious children’s accessories and fashion brand that artfully marries ethics with creativity. Clothing is made from organic cotton and in certified Indian factories, while stationery and beach kits are made in France from ecologically sourced or recycled materials.
Our partnership with Textile and Fashion Federation Singapore (Taff) continues as we collectively present Boutiques Edit on level 3 of the F1 Pit Building. Boutiques Edit is a dynamic extension of our showcase on level 2 to raise the profile of local designers within fashion and design.
Back by popular demand, Boutiques Social is our F&B focused lounge space for visitors to take a break from shopping and catch up with friends over good food and drinks. Enjoy the spacious recreational area with Nyonya signatures from award-winning Violet Oon Singapore, freshly brewed coffee from Liberty Coffee, crisp wine from our pop-up wine bar by Pop Up Wines, and plenty more healthy snacks and goodies. Visitors can also catch art exhibitions and installations and, of course, continue to discover even more designers and brands at Boutiques Social.
Shop among models as we take Spring/Summer trends directly to the shopping space this March! Adding to the hype of our signature shopping extravaganza, our roving fashion parades will be scheduled throughout the event to showcase the beautiful collections of participating brands.
WORKSHOPS & DEMOS
An all-rounded experience awaits visitors at the Spring/Summer 2018 Edition. NURSING ROOM FOR MUMS
Nursing mums are welcome to use our quiet Nursing Room located at Boutiques Social on level 3. The nursing room is kindly sponsored by Rice and features a changing area and ample seating for mums and bubs to rest and relax in.
